About The Position
You love what you do, now love where you do it. We are looking for skilled RNs to join our combined Surgical Cardiac Progressive Care and Neuroscience unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this 47-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac and neuro comorbidities, including post-open heart, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Pulmonary Hypertension trauma, epilepsy, brain tumors, spinal injury, and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team. As the region's flagship hospital, this USCF academic-affiliated facility is home to the only Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke and Comprehensive Burn Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento — serving as the area's "safety net provider" and covering nine counties. We are the only health system with the expertise and cutting-edge technology to handle the most challenging, complex cases in the Central Valley. Requirements
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE ) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
