Provides direct patient care to patients in intra-operative setting using the nursing process.   • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients of all age ranges.
  • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN
  • Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN. BLS CPR required
  • Previous surgical experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience in acute care setting preferred or will be a graduate of a peri-operative training program.
  • Finger and hand dexterity.
  • Ability to obtain and interpret pertinent information in terms of the patients needs.
  • Ability to select proper instrumentation/supplies appropriate for the procedure being performed and the age group of the patient served.
  • Previous surgical experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience in acute care setting preferred or will be a graduate of a peri-operative training program.
