This is a Full time, benefited, evening/mid shift position 09-2130 with call at La Jolla Green in Torrey Pines. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires. Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team, which operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate for the position will have 1 or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho (total Joints/LER- lower extremity reconstruction), General, Urology, Vascular, Spine, Plastics, ENT, Robotics, Neuro, and Transplant. Requirements

  • One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating)
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Nice To Haves

  • 2 + years surgery experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
  • Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
  • The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
