Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana Shift: Day Shift – Variable Hours | PRN status At Logan Health, our Operating Room nurses are essential partners in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. As an RN Surgery Circulator, you’ll play a critical role in patient advocacy, surgical coordination, and team-based care – supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments while collaborating with skilled surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow perioperative professionals. Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
  • 1+ year(s) of RN experience in a similar medical setting (hospital, clinic, or physician office)
  • Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification, as required by service line
  • Strong working knowledge of: Professional nursing theory and standards of practice Medical terminology Infection control procedures and universal precautions HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations OSHA rules and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree
  • 2+ years of RN experience in a similar medical setting (hospital, clinic, or physician office)
  • Prior experience in the Operating Room or surgical services
  • Additional certifications relevant to perioperative nursing or assigned specialty area

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control in accordance with policy and procedure
  • Accurately transcribe and implement verbal and written provider orders
  • Monitor, assess, and report changes in patients’ physical and mental condition
  • Anticipate patient needs and coordinate timely interventions during surgical procedures
  • Document all patient encounters clearly and thoroughly in accordance with organizational standards
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding surgical care and recovery
  • Remain calm and effective during changing workloads, prioritizing care and seeking assistance when appropriate
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance as scheduled by department leadership
