Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana Shift: Day Shift – 8 Hours | Full–Time – 40 Hours At Logan Health, our Operating Room nurses are essential partners in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. As an RN Surgery Circulator , you’ll play a critical role in patient advocacy, surgical coordination, and team-based care – supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments while collaborating with skilled surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow perioperative professionals. What You’ll Do As an RN Surgery Circulator, you will: Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control in accordance with policy and procedure Accurately transcribe and implement verbal and written provider orders Monitor, assess, and report changes in patients’ physical and mental condition Anticipate patient needs and coordinate timely interventions during surgical procedures Document all patient encounters clearly and thoroughly in accordance with organizational standards Provide education and support to patients and families regarding surgical care and recovery Remain calm and effective during changing workloads, prioritizing care and seeking assistance when appropriate Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes Maintain regular and reliable attendance as scheduled by department leadership

Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
  • 1+ year(s) of RN experience in a similar medical setting (hospital, clinic, or physician office)
  • Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification , as required by service line
  • Strong working knowledge of: Professional nursing theory and standards of practice Medical terminology Infection control procedures and universal precautions HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations OSHA rules and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree
  • 2+ years of RN experience in a similar medical setting (hospital, clinic, or physician office)
  • Prior experience in the Operating Room or surgical services
  • Additional certifications relevant to perioperative nursing or assigned specialty area
