About the position

The RN Supervisor position involves overseeing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality care for residents in a healthcare facility. The role requires effective communication, adherence to health regulations, and the ability to maintain a supportive and respectful environment for both residents and staff. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for managing patient care, documenting health records, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record all charting into Point Click Care accurately and appropriately.
• Report all changes/incidents in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Licensed Practical Nurse immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of usernames and passwords for accessing resident/facility information.
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as instructed by supervisors.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis throughout the unit and shift.
• Attend all Staff Meetings per the Employee Handbook.
• Report any potential or actual safety hazards to Maintenance and Supervisor.
• Report all complaints and grievances made by residents to Supervisor and Administration.
• Work as a team member and well with all coworkers.
• Ensure that all nursing is provided in privacy and respect resident rights.

Requirements

• Must possess a GED or High School Diploma.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug test, and post-offer physical exam, if required.
• Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and record vital signs manually and electronically.
