Assists Solheim Senior Community (“Solheim”) to the success of Solheim by effectively assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating nursing services that result in the provision of effective and high-quality care for our residents. Works in unison with all other departments to ensure the highest degree of resident and family satisfaction. Ensure staff compliance with Federal, State and local regulations. Ensure staff compliance and participation in the promotion of the Mission, Vision and Wellness philosophies. The role involves monitoring and managing care delivery, responding to urgent situations, providing clinical and administrative support, participating in medication administration, acting as a role model for memory loss residents, incident reporting, resident assessment, ensuring safety, environmental checks, and reporting concerns. It also includes duties as a State Mandated Reporter for Abuse, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with physician orders, auditing records, assisting with telehealth, and following up on recommendations from various teams. The supervisor is responsible for prompt response to resident needs, acting as a person-centered facilitator, following infection control policies, coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges, providing therapeutic support and education, and acting as a 'First Responder' for employee injuries. Additionally, the role involves maintaining positive resident/family/guest/staff relations, ensuring resident rights and confidentiality, effective communication, problem-solving, and adherence to regulatory and administrative compliance, including DPH, OBRA, Title 22, Solheim Compliance Plan, and HIPAA.
