Requirements

  • Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 3+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in gerontology highly preferred.
  • CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Proven leadership or charge nurse experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technology.
  • The compassion, patience, and discretion this important role demands.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Quality Care: Oversee all clinical aspects of the shift, ensuring every resident receives safe, compassionate, and top-notch nursing care. You'll assist staff with assessments and complex cases, leading by example.
  • Lead with Confidence: Make critical decisions, manage staffing and resources effectively, and step in as a staff nurse when the team needs you most.
  • Build a Thriving Culture: Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for both residents and staff. You’ll be the bridge between the day and night teams.
  • Be a Guardian of Excellence: Ensure we are always in compliance with state and federal regulations, championing our residents' rights and safety in everything you do.
