RN Supervisor - Skilled Nursing Facility
About The Position
Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift . This is a key leadership role in our skilled nursing facility, requiring a confident RN who can independently manage clinical operations and staff during evening hours. This position is best suited for an RN with prior supervisory or management experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting . Due to the regulatory and operational differences, hospital-only RN experience is not a strong fit for this role . Position Overview The RN Supervisor provides hands-on clinical leadership and oversight during the 3–11 shift, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality resident care. This role functions independently without an on-site DON or Administrator , making strong decision-making and leadership skills essential.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Florida (required)
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a SNF/LTC setting (required)
- Strong knowledge of SNF/LTC regulations and clinical workflows
- Ability to work independently and lead with confidence
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff during the 3–11 shift
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations specific to SNF/LTC
- Serve as the primary clinical decision-maker during the shift
- Address staffing needs, call-outs, and shift coverage as needed
- Respond to resident condition changes, incidents, and family concerns
- Support documentation accuracy and clinical standards
- Maintain survey readiness and address clinical issues in real time
