About The Position

The RN Supervisor supports the nursing resource pool at Grosse Pointe Hospital providing an opportunity to work with a diverse team of staff from RNs, NAs, and Sitters collaborating with different units throughout the hospital. The Nurse Supervisor coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization, in a cost-effective manner. Collaborates to provide crisis management, interpret policy and procedure, and assure timely and effective communication and collaboration between individuals and departments. The Nurse Supervisor represents the organizational leadership across all venues on a 24-hour basis and collaborates to make decisions and act on behalf of the leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
• Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required.
• One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience required for external applicants.
• One year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience required for internal applicants.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.

Responsibilities
