St. John's is seeking a Part Time or Full Time RN Supervisor for Evening Shift (3:00 pm-11:30 pm) + every other weekend. The RN Supervisor has the responsibility of translating the objectives, policies, and procedures of St. John's Home & the Nursing Department into effective actions. Must maintain the highest standards of nursing care and practice of the assigned shifts. The Nurse Supervisor maintains the highest degree of quality care.

Requirements

• Current NYS RN license.
• Current NYS CPR certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of RN supervisory experience required or three (3) years of RN experience.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to attend and complete 3-day orientation on Mon-Tues-Wed from 9 am-4 pm.
• Proficient organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with elders and care for their needs.
• Compliance with NYS Department of Health immunization requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in long term care highly desirable.
• Must possess leadership skills and willingness to work harmoniously with others.
