We're currently seeking RN Supervisor for Nights to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Why Medical Telemetry? Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit offers you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers: Highly engaged team Supportive management team Robust Unit Based Council Flexible scheduling Emphasis on work/life balance We have a varied medical/telemetry population including: Sepsis Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress Chest Pain Infection Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes. Requirements
- Graduate of RN School of Nursing
- ADN required
- Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- 2 Years of Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer
