Has knowledge of community health concepts, principles of ambulatory clinical nursing care. Provide leadership in daily operations of the practice. Responsible for administration of business, financial and clinical functions of the practice. Assists in the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the delivery of CommonSpirit's healthcare services within the community. Practices personal accountability and leads staff to be personally accountable for achieving set goals and objectives as well as mission and core values. Assumes daily responsibility for the overall operations of the clinic and community initiatives so that quality patient care is delivered in the most cost effective manner while enhancing the quality and safety of care delivery. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission and core values.

Requirements

• Associate Degree Nursing Required
• 3 years clinical background in area of specialty
• Experience providing patient education and coaching
• Computer skills in word processing excel and related programs
• Experience in or knowledge of working within established budget parameters
• Current RN license in state of employment / Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact required
• Basic Life Support-American Heart Association Required
• Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor Degree Nursing Preferred
• Previous supervision as well as leadership skills preferred
• RN Certification in Ambulatory Nursing through the AAACN, strongly preferred. Other applicable nursing certifications may be considered if applicable for this role

Benefits

• $400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek, Lake, and Chaffee Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at a CommonSpirit Mountain Region site in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer.
