The Supervisor, Behavioral Health is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of behavioral health services, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflows. This role provides leadership to clinical and support staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and promotes best practices in mental health and crisis intervention. The Supervisor facilitates staff training, monitors service effectiveness, and ensures a safe and supportive environment for patients and caregivers.

  • Supervises behavioral health staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensures compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborates with clinical teams to coordinate patient care, treatment plans, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Oversees documentation, patient records, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitors staff adherence to safety protocols and de-escalation techniques in crisis situations.
  • Facilitates ongoing training and professional development opportunities for behavioral health staff.
  • Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
  • Responds to urgent behavioral health situations, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Associate Degree or higher preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience in the profession required
  • 1-2 years of previous leadership experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage cross-functional relationships.
