About The Position

Corewell Health operates over three hundred outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over forty types of primary care and specialty practices, which allow those who work in these clinics the opportunity to gain experience and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Neuroscience Center offers eleven hospital-based clinics specializing in a variety of neurological conditions. As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding our team to better serve our patients. The RN Supervisor will support four key specialties: Pediatric and Adult ENT, Sinus and Skull Base Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (non-cosmetic, typically trauma-related), and Neurosurgery. They will have direct oversight of clinical staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs), ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
  • Minimum one - two years of progressive nursing leadership experience (unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, precepting, or charge nurse role) Required.
  • Three years of progressive nursing leadership experience (unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, precepting, or charge nurse role) Strongly Preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize clinical personnel and resources to meet patient care functions in a cost-effective manner.
  • Oversee clinical operations and ensure competency for excellence in clinical practice.
  • Orient and train clinical staff.
  • Develop process improvement initiatives based on best practices.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures.
  • Support quality patient care to meet regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in Patient and Family Centered Care.
