About The Position

Submit your application for RN Structural Heart position and spend more time at the bedside with the patient. As a highly skilled and compassionate Structural Heart Nurse you will provide general nursing activities for Structural Heart procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. The RN may assist with Structural Heart Clinic patient evaluations as needed. You will be part of a team that pulls together to provide a quality patient care experience. Requirements

  • Current nursing license in good standing.
  • Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or obtain within 90 days of date of hire.
  • Two to three years of acute care tele experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with outreach and educational programs for physicians, hospitals and clinics.
  • Assist with other Structural Heart clinic duties as needed.
  • Communicates assessment data in orderly fashion by verbalizing pertinent information to health team members.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient pre-clinic evaluations and pre-procedural evaluation and testing.
  • Assist physicians with patient consultation during patient's clinic visit.
  • Delivers direct patient care according to established standards.
  • Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function well under stressful situations.
  • Collaborate with fellow members of the team and orient as needed.
