UPMC Altoona is excited to offer a weekend program incentive! We are seeking a Registered Nurse to support the T11 Trauma unit on weekend night shifts with rotation. Tower 11 is a 44 bed, orthopedic, trauma, neurological, medical surgical monitored unit, serving the adult population. We are the unit of choice for patients with orthopedic surgeries, neurological surgeries, fractures, trauma, neurological disorders and medical cases. We are trained in caring for complex fractures and post-operative care of joint replacements. What makes T11 a special place to work? Eligible participants in the weekend program must work 48 weekends per year, 24 hours per weekend (either two 12 or three 8 hour shifts per weekend) between the hours of Friday 3pm and Monday 7am.
