As an RN in our 53-bed unit, you’ll care for a diverse range of patients in adult cardiology and medical-surgical specialties, including pacemaker placements, CHF, ACS, telemetry monitoring, and chronic conditions like diabetes, COPD, and addiction. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care. Relocation assistance available for nurses new to Legacy!

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure.
  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If you’re working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply!
  • At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
  • Acute care experience preferred, this unit will train nurses that have a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health’s high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
  • Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys.
  • Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care.
