Our 12-bed unit IMCU serves a diverse community with a wide range of critical care needs, from respiratory and renal failure to complex surgical recovery. Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN): As a key member of our team, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care, working with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the best outcomes.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure.
At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
Additional clinical experience may be required, depending on the department.
Acute care experience required; strong telemetry skills, cardiac and stroke experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - because in this role, every day is different, and your expertise will make all the difference.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Nice To Haves

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If you're working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply!
For certain roles, a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health's high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
