About The Position

The (DDC) Digestive Disease Center RN Specialty Coordinator reports to the (DDC) Front End Operations Manager and is a professional registered nurse with proficient Digestive Health clinical knowledge who offers individualized assistance to patients and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN Coordinator promotes informed decision-making and timely access to quality patient care through referral review and care coordination while providing a vital link in communication between patients and multidisciplinary providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years related clinical nursing work experience required.
• Current South Carolina licensure as a registered nurse.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
