The G101 Transplant Specialty Care Nursing Unit is a 34-bed unit that specializes in kidney, pancreas, liver, intestine and face transplant surgeries while also providing supportive services to transplant patients and their families. Known for their exceptional teamwork and kind-hearted medical care, the relationships built between caregivers and patients in this unit are life-long. As a Registered Nurse in our G101 Specialty Care Transplant Unit, you will provide care to Med/Surg and Solid Organ Transplant patients. You will become familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. A caregiver in this position works rotating shifts Day/Evening/Night/Weekend, from 7:00am—7:30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
One-year of current acute care RN experience.
Will consider military RN experience.
