Requirements

• Current California RN License
• BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
• Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting
• Cardiology experience as an RN
• Emergency Dept/ICU experience
• Cath Lab experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
• Engage in complex clinical procedures and provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols, and medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
