About The Position

The Registered Nurse Specialist in the Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) for Urology will provide specialized patient-centric care in a physician's office setting. This role involves clinical nursing assessments, patient advocacy, support, counseling, and education. The RN will manage patient cases, perform specialized procedures, and collaborate with healthcare providers while directing clinical staff and adhering to regulatory policies under the guidance of the Manager or Medical Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• One year of specialty experience or two years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required or to be obtained within the first month of employment.
• Proven ability to multitask and problem solve.
• Outstanding patient/customer service skills and verbal clarity.
• Exceptional cognitive abilities and team focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing assessments to patients.
