About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients. Employees must also complete all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

Requirements

Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
American Heart Association BLS
Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times

Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality

Complies with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
Participates in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stoke) education within one year of hire
Participates in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education

Nice To Haves

Outpatient clinic experience
Knowledge of electronic health record operating systems
Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
