A Shock Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the early identification and management of patients with suspected or confirmed shock. This role ensures rapid, evidence‑based interventions; guides staff through resuscitation protocols; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams; monitors quality metrics and outcomes; and supports education, training, and performance improvement initiatives related to shock recognition and treatment. A strong cardiac background is required. This position is part time at 20 hours per week. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
