Pay rate starting at $41.00- $44.50/hr, based on experience, plus shift differential of $1.50/hr for nights. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you’ll lead nursing staff, ensure high-quality care, and support residents’ health, safety, and well-being every day.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to role model professional appearance and demeanor
- Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
- Commitment to person-centered care initiatives
- Conflict resolution skills and ability to coach and support staff
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work extra hours as needed
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in geriatric nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor or physician/physician extender
- Communicate with Supervisor, DON, NHA, care providers, and family/POA as needed
- Use evidence-based practices to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery
- Assist in managing personnel through performance evaluation, Care Chats, coaching, counseling, education, and corrective action as needed
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in resident transitions of care, care conferences, and care plan reviews
- Collaborate with Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal resident outcomes
- Comply with Infection Control practices
- Ensure hand-held communication equipment is maintained for effective call bell management and team communication
- Attend and complete all required in-services, training, and team meetings
- Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned
