Requirements

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
• 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
• Must possess a current CPR license

Responsibilities

• Supervision of all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
• Assessing staffing and resident needs and directing care
• Working predominately with an adult geriatric population
• Serving as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care
• Supervising clinical aspects of nursing
• Managing day to day operations of Nursing Department
• Interfacing with others to ensure efficient unit operations
• Seeking opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency
