The Senior Clinical Nurse Manager provides compassionate clinical leadership to ensure exceptional home health and personal care services. This role is dedicated to supporting both clients and caregivers by fostering a culture of dignity, trust, education, and excellence. A key focus of this position is training, educating, and mentoring CNAs, empowering them to grow professionally while delivering safe, high-quality, client-centered care in the home. This role rotates weekly on-call responsibilities with the Clinical Nurse Manager

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
  • Minimum (4) years of clinical experience in home care/home health setting
  • Prior leadership and staff development experience required
  • Experience training, mentoring, or supervising CNAs
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Compassionate leadership style with a commitment to caregiver development and client dignity
  • Must have a current/active CPR & First Aid certification
  • Must have valid driver’s license and ability to provide own transportation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective and responsive communication skills
  • Demonstrates patience with all customers – internal and external
  • At least proficient at a beginner level with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and can think quickly to amend a plan if needed
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills
  • Excellent listening skills

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of marketing experience (preferred)
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an approved program is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership for home health and personal care services by coordinating the initial assessment of clients, determining client care plans, and appropriate care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and coach for nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development while also promoting excellent customer services to create a positive work environment
  • Ensure that Menders by Lenbrook is in full compliance with all appropriate local and state rules and regulations; maintain ongoing survey readiness, including participation in DCH inspections, audits, and corrective action plans
  • Monitor incident reports, client complaints, and quality indicators; implement corrective and preventive actions as needed
  • Educate, train, mentor, and support CNAs to ensure competency, confidence, and compassionate caregiving
  • Develop regularly scheduled in-service education programs
  • Ensure orientation of new CNAs and in-service programs are appropriate
  • Monitor quality of care, address clinical concerns, and implement improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, and families to support holistic care
  • Provide a positive and informative first impression to all prospective clients and their families
  • Foster a positive, mission-driven work environment that values caregivers and promotes retention
  • Directs and participates in the performance evaluation process
  • Monitor and review client satisfaction surveys to assure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to Menders by Lenbrook policies and procedures and ensure caregivers provide quality care to residents
  • Reviews and maintains client care records (narratives) prepared by CNAs
  • Collaborating with Scheduling Coordinators as needed
  • Traveling about 25% of the time and completing visits within Atlanta Metro
  • Assists in planning, organizing, and directing activities that ensure an efficient, cost-effective delivery.
  • Meet weekly with Director to discuss census/caseload, marketing strategies, and follow-up with referral sources
