Requirements

• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
• IA RN license
• BLS and ACLS are required
• One year of Medical/Surgical or similar nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Same Day Surgery/PACU area
• Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
• Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients
