Requirements

• Education: As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
• Experience: Three years registered nursing experience required.
• Additional requirements: Three years critical care nursing experience required; the three-year requirement may be met for current Legacy employees who have a minimum of two years adult critical care experience plus one year emergency department, intensive care or pediatric critical care experience.
• Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
• Licensure: Both Oregon and Washington state RN licensure required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required. ACLS required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.

Responsibilities

• Be available and flexible to float to various sites throughout Legacy Health System and provide patient care.
• Participate as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee.
• Assess, analyze, plan, implement and evaluate patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health.
