About The Position

Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program at St. Joseph's Health - Starting Fall 2026. Start your nursing career with confidence through 12 month-long Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program, designed to support newly NY State Licensed RN's as they transition into clinical practice. Start: July 6th, 2026, August 3rd, 2026 or September 14th, 2026. Open House: 5/5/2026 2:30pm -4:30pm @ St. Joseph's Hospital. Application period: 5/4/2026-5/18/2026. Interviews: 6/8/2026-6/12/2026.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• RN Licensed in the State of New York and posted on Office of Professions
• Maintains current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise

Responsibilities

• Receive mentorship from experienced nurses
• Engage in peer support and collaboration
• Participate in monthly interactive, evidence-based learning sessions
• Gain hands-on experience in chosen track
