The RN Supervisor is primarily responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of Health Care Center on a designated shift to provide and maintain a high level of quality resident care. In the absence of the Clinic Nurse, the RN Supervisor will also supervise the health care of Independent Living residents. The RN Supervisor functions as a clinical resource person who coordinates communication with the Physician in order to direct resident care on a designated shift. The RN Supervisor is directly responsible for the quality of nursing care administered to residents within clinical areas of responsibility, and actively supports the nursing process to maintain quality resident care and evaluates levels of care.
