The RN - Registered Nurse at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center is responsible for managing and supervising tenant care to ensure the highest quality of care is provided in accordance with the Minnesota Board of Nursing (BON) standards. This role is guided by the Tenants' Bill of Rights and adheres to the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments to establish the baseline health status of tenants and create detailed Plans of Care that reflect individual needs and preferences. In this position, the RN will oversee practical nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other nursing personnel. This includes assessing their knowledge, skills, and capabilities, clarifying expectations, and addressing any behaviors that may compromise tenant safety. The ultimate goal is to achieve and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each tenant. The RN will also be involved in the collection and analysis of data to ensure continuous improvement in care delivery.
