The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, nursing interventions, treatments, modalities, the therapeutic environment and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge, professional accountability and adherence to regulatory bodies. The Registered Nurse actively participates in and encourages teamwork to provide patient-focused in accordance with the mission and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital. This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position, which means OHH reasonably believes this position could affect the safety and health of her or her own self and others.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure.
  • Current BLS certification required at the time of hire and ACLS certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience in telemetry or related cardiac clinical setting preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient care and/or radiology preferred.
