Ebenezer Ridges Care Center highlights a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN. Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse/RN role who would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. Come join the Ridges Care Center Skilled Nursing community in Burnsville, MN. Nursing schedule includes; 32 hours every two weeks, part-time Evening shift. Requirements

  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers

Responsibilities

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
  • Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • RN – Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided
