Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse with current state licensure, Current BLS required.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for direct patient care in the Surgery Department and as needed in other areas.
Actively participates in the routine checks of all equipment used in the Surgery Department.
Collaborates with the Surgery Director, Manager and all other team members in idea sharing, utilization of resources, as well as assists in the cross training of the staff when assigned.
Demonstrates sharing of knowledge of regulatory, federal and state regulations.
Serves as primary trainer and resource nurse on vascular cases.
