Job Duties: The RN Performance Improvement Coordinato r evaluates the quality of health care rendered by the System for the purpose of meeting regulatory requirements for inpatient and outpatient assigned areas. The successful candidate in this role will support hospital systems at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre. A typical schedule is full-time, 40 hours weekly and salaried. At least two (2) years of RN work experience is required. A bachelor's degree in nursing, BSN, is required. Experience with maintaining hospital compliance with regulatory agencies and Joint Commission regulations and standards is preferred. Experience with formal data collection and quality of care evaluation is helpful.
