The Cardiac PCU 3D is a 38-bed telemetry monitored progressive care unit with a focus on Cardiac patient populations. This unit participates in our Progress-In-Place initiative meaning our patients remain on the same unit for treatment even when their acuity level increases or decreases. We serve both Medical Surgical and Progressive Care acuity patients on the same unit. This Progressive Care Unit at Banner Del Webb is looking for experienced PCU Nurses but we will also consider candidates with Telemetry, ICU, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Medical/Surgical or any other acute or critical care background that have a desire to develop and learn! This is a Full Time, Night shift position working 3/12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm-7:30am. You will have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
