About The Position

Title: RN - Registered Nurse - PACU “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours”  Position Description: RN - Registered Nurse - PACU BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel.  The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Requirements

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
  • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
  • ACLS Certification is required
  • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
  • 2 years of RN experience is required.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Clinical skills appropriate to position

Nice To Haves

  • Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
  • 1 year of RN experience in PACU is preferred.
