About The Position
RN/Registered Nurse-PACU Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound - 4400 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, Texas 75028 Work hours: PRN “as needed” – 9:30am-8:00pm, self-scheduling, no call required. PRN III does require 6 shifts per 6 weeks with 2 weekend shifts and 1 major/ 2 minor holidays. Requirements
- Nursing Diploma – Required
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing – Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse – Required
- RN (Registered Nurse) – Required upon hire
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) – Required prior to providing independent patient care; must be maintained quarterly
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required within 90 days of hire
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required within 90 days of hire
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred
