Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing.
  • BSN is strongly preferred; candidates with an Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered and are encouraged to enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of hire.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years in telemetry or intermediate care setting is preferred.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult acute care patients with a variety of diagnoses and co-morbidities.
  • Administer chemotherapy and manage patients in the oncology/hematology specialty.
  • Monitor patients closely with a nurse:patient ratio that is less than on medical surgical floors.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality care according to hospital standards.
