About The Position

The RN - L&D (Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery) position involves providing care to women during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mothers and newborns. Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high-risk pregnancies.
• Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB).
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
