The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Provides critical nursing care to include administration of moderate sedation, monitoring for complications, and preparation for interventional procedures. Provide nursing care to Emergency patients having during interventional procedure. Monitor and record procedures.

Requirements

• 1 year of Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, ICU or ER experience.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Preferred).
• Active Florida RN or Multistate RN License.
• Active BLS & ACLS certifications (accepted from Red Cross, American Heart Association and Military only).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.
• Provide critical nursing care including administration of moderate sedation.
• Monitor for complications during procedures.
• Prepare for interventional procedures.
• Provide nursing care to emergency patients during interventional procedures.
• Monitor and record procedures.
