Work hours: Full Time 40 hours per week, (4) 10-hour shifts between 7:30AM-6:00PM Monday-Friday, with self-scheduled call requirements. Must be able to report to the department within 30 minutes of call. Interventional Radiology (IR) is a medical specialty where various minimally invasive procedures are performed using medical imaging guidance such as x-ray, MRI, or ultrasound. These procedures might be for biopsy, diagnosis, or intervention. Interventional Radiology Department highlights include self-scheduling of call that helps with work/life balance, a unique rotating shift schedule that allows for a 4-day weekend every 5-weeks, a robust Unit Based Council (UBC), and an engaged leadership team with 5 Interventional Radiology suites.
