About The Position

Investigates and monitors known or potential sources of suspected infection. Recommends infection control tactics, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion. Must be obtained through Penn State Health or American Heart Association (AHA)

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of prior experience preferred
• Certification in Infection Control preferred
