Position Details: Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, 3001 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33677 Status: Fulltime Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:10 PM On Call: Yes Always in person Summary: The procedural RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience for consideration. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service. Endoscopy experience strongly preferred. ACLS and PALS preferred.

Requirements

BLS (Basic Life Support)
RN (Registered Nurse)
ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
Clinical skills appropriate to position
Interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Preferred Nurse Specialty
Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
Endoscopy experience strongly preferred.
ACLS and PALS preferred.
