Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in any setting
• Licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse requirements
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• RN (Registered Nurse) license
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) certification if required by department
• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing degree
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing degree

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service
• Procedural experience
• 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
