About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve at Oak Crossing, Essentia Health's highly rated long-term care facility in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This RN works three 12-hour day shifts weekly, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, for a total of 36 hours weekly. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Sign-on bonuses are available, and there is flexibility available for the number of hours scheduled.

Requirements

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
