About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Clinic Float Pool. This is your opportunity to have variety in your day while doing the work you love in the beautiful coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin. The position requires fulfilling 64 hours per two weeks; 0.8 FTE, working 8-hour day shifts between the hours of 0800-1630, Monday through Friday with no weekends, holidays, or call obligations. The role involves providing LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients seeking care in our primary care and specialty care departments on our La Crosse and Onalaska campuses. Clinic Float Pool RNs are able to expand their nursing knowledge with a well-constructed orientation and be supported to explore areas of interest. There are many opportunities for growth, including project work and committee representation.

Requirements

• Minimum of associate degree in nursing
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota and Iowa within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Fulfill 64 hours per two weeks; 0.8 FTE
• Work 8-hour day shifts between the hours of 0800-1630, Monday through Friday
• Provide care to patients in primary care and specialty care departments
• Expand nursing knowledge through orientation and support
• Participate in project work and committee representation
