Title: RN - Registered Nurse - Cardiac Medical “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours” Position Description: RN BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac Medical team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph's Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. This is a Cardiac PCU unit that takes care of patients with cardiac arrythmias, MI - myocardial infarct (heart attack), overflow for congestive heart failure, and all pre/post cardiac procedures, except open heart surgery. The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Requirements

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
2 year of RN experience is required.
Interpersonal skills
Critical thinking skills
Clinical skills appropriate to position

Nice To Haves

ACLS, NIHSS, and PCCN Certification is preferred
Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
